Meet The Team

• Kate Hinchliffe

  Biography

  Kate is the Director of Impact First, which was formed in 2010. With a career spanning over 30 years, Kate has held leadership positions across a range of organisations.

  For nearly four years she led the Training & Development Agency’s (TDA) North East Regional Centre, successfully delivering a large Government contract. Kate is currently working with Wolverhampton & Gloucester Universities and Serco to deliver a range of leadership development activities including the Level 6 Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship (CMDA) and the Level 5 Operational Manager Apprenticeship (OMA).

  Kate’s career has focused on leading the development and reform of organisations, teams and individuals to improve outcomes through better performance. She has established and managed a range of successful multi-agency projects, gaining national awards including ‘Partners in Excellence’, ‘Charter Mark’ and ‘Customer First’.

  Kate is a qualified teacher and has an MBA from Durham University. She is a trained and experienced coach, NLP practitioner and has undertaken an internship with Gerry Egan and the University of Manchester to become an advanced enterprise consultant. Kate has had particular success in scoping, developing and delivering bespoke training programmes and providing coaching to individuals and businesses to secure better outcomes.

• Doug Green

  Biography

  Accredited by the Hay Group, Doug is an experienced and skilled facilitator -successfully supporting the development of organisations and individuals through face to face and online facilitation. He also leads ‘train the trainer’ programmes, passing his skills and expertise onto new facilitators.

  Doug has led a number of schools as a head teacher and worked with Local Authorities to develop leadership and management capacity across the organisation. An expert at workshop design (including bespoke and for national programmes), Doug has provided leadership & management development for a wide range of organisations from multi-national corporations to small charities and from Sunderland in the UK to Egypt, Germany, Romania & the USA.

• Duncan

  Biography

  Initially graduating as a Mechanical Engineer, Duncan has a career of over 30 years in industry, in front line, leadership and support roles. His diverse portfolio includes people development & coaching as well as delivering operational objectives and safety improvement.

  Duncan has a background of leadership and management primarily in manufacturing industry within blue chip companies including PepsiCo, Nestle and Findus. He has performed in a broad range of roles including Engineering, Operations, Quality Assurance and Project Management.

  For the past ten years, Duncan has focussed on Project Management, including collaborative work scope development with clients, planning and execution of Capital projects and advising organisations how to comply with legal regulations when executing construction projects.

  Trained as an ‘Advanced Facilitator’, Duncan has also developed and delivered a range of training programmes to Operational Managers. These include training on the key techniques and knowledge to allow them to successfully manage their own projects while complying with key business systems.
